Hemlock forest, Trail of the Cedars - Near Avalanche Creek, Glacier National Park, Montana. The weather is milder and wetter in the McDonald Valley and supports a cedar and hemlock forest much like those on the coast of the Pacific northwest. Trees in this forest create a dense canopy that allows very little light to reach the forest floor. Film Size 6X7cm
